During this class you will...
- Experience
spiritual practices from a variety of traditions (journaling,
affirmation/visualization, imaging, body practices, psychological
work/intimate relationship, meditation, contemplation, prayer,
shamanism, dreams, and psychic work/intuition/synchronicity)
- Increase
your awareness and strengthen trust in your inner voice.
- Use
your practice to consider the questions in your life.
- Explore
some of the joys and pitfalls of the spiritual life.
- Begin
to create your own practice.
Prayer:
Intimate Connection
6 weeks - $120
During this class you will...
- Experience
many types of prayer and the similarities with Eastern tradition.
- Look
at your images of God (Source, Divine, Goddess, mystery) and at
some of the blocks that may keep you from this relationship.
- Learn
to discern the variety of inner voices.
- Explore
the ups and downs of the spiritual journey.
About
Marilyn Kaye Moore
Marilyn
is a certified spiritual director & educator trained through Sacred
Ground. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota &
her Master's Degree from the United Theological Seminary. She is
a member of Sacred Ground and Spiritual Directors International.
Marilyn grew up in the Methodist Church and has since studied and
experienced many spiritual disciplines including:
- Christian
mysticism, prayer and meditation
- Hindu
and Buddhist religion and meditation practices
- Native
American and Shamanic spirituality
- Affirmation,
visualization, and imaging
- Psychic
development and new age spirituality
- Psychological
work and healing the inner child
